What we collect

Account data: your email address and display name.
Trip data you enter: trips, members, expenses, currencies, comments.
Support messages: what you write in the «Message the developer» chat.
Technical data: IP addresses and request metadata in standard server logs, basic activity timestamps (e.g. last sign-in).

We do not collect payment details (the service is free) and we do not use advertising trackers.

Where the data lives

Account and trip data are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Supabase) hosted in the European Union (Ireland, eu-west-1). Transactional emails (sign-up codes, password reset) are sent via Google Gmail. Support chat messages are relayed to the developer via Telegram so we can answer quickly.

Who can see your data

Trip data is visible only to the members of that trip — access is enforced at the database level (row-level security). We never sell or share your data with advertisers.

Cookies, local storage and analytics

The app uses browser local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences (theme, language, your cookie choice).

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand anonymous usage of the public pages (which pages are visited, from which countries, on which devices). Analytics is loaded only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner; if you decline, no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google Analytics. IP anonymization is enabled. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser — the banner will ask again.

Your rights

You can edit your profile in the app. You can delete your account and personal data yourself in Profile → Delete account; deletion removes your personal data (your email is erased and your login is removed) while keeping other members' shared trip history correct. You may also request access to, correction or export of your data, or object to processing, by writing to trevelpnl1@gmail.com from your account email. If you are in the EU/UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
